第九回 日本古武道交流演武大会

十月六日、七日二日間、茨城県鹿島神宮で行われます日本古武道交流演武大会へ参加する為、前日の五日より東京へ向かいました。こちら北九州から茨城県は遠い為、東京に前泊しなければなりません。
KashimOn the 6th October, we went to Tokyo to participate in the Japan Martial Arts Cultural Exchange Event at the a Shrine in Ibaraki Prefecture for two days. Kitakyushu to Ibaraki prefecture is far away, so we stayed in Tokyo the night before.
今年は東京で観光をしようと少し早めに出発したのですが台風の影響もあり雨模様。
宿泊先からも近かった、両国へ移動したばかりの刀剣博物館へ。
立派な旧安田庭園内に近代的な建物が建っていて、今回は現代刀職展が開催されていました。
This time we did sightseeing in Tokyo a little early but it was raining a lot from the typhoon.
We went to the sword museum which was moved and is close to the accommodation. A modern building was built in a splendid old Yasuda garden, and now the contemporary sword work exhibition was held.
時代を重ねた刀の迫力も良いのですが、実践的に斬ることを抜きにして作成された現代刀には細かな装飾や手の込んだデザインが施されていてとても美しいです。
Although the power of a sword during the those times were also good, the contemporary sword created without practical slashing is given a fine decoration and elaborate design and it is very beautiful.
翌日は東京から高速バスで茨城へ移動。
鹿嶋市の職員の皆様、そして観光ボランティアガイドさんのご案内で剣豪 塚原卜伝ツアーへ。鹿嶋市の観光と塚原卜伝ゆかりの地そしてお墓参りへ。
武蔵先生の攻撃を鍋蓋で防いだお話があまりにも有名ですが、実際には生きた時代が全く違いますので創作です。もし現実に卜伝と武蔵の対決が実現していたら、また歴史がかわっていたのかも知れませんね。
The next day we moved from Tokyo to Ibaraki by express bus.
We went on swordman Tsukahara Bokuden lecture tour with the guidance of the staff of Kashima City and tourist volunteer guide. Touring of Kashima city and to the ground and grave of Tsukahara Bokuden.
The story that Musashi sensei prevented an attack with a pot lid is too famous, but in fact it is fictional as the living era is totally different. In reality if Musashi’s showdown were realized, the history would be changed.
その日は武徳殿にて予行練習が行われ、夜は参加者の先生方とパーティーが行われました。美味しいお食事とお酒を頂き、沢山の先生方と交流する事が出来、たのしい時間を過ごす事が出来ました。
On that day, we practised at Butokuden, and party was held with participants teachers at night. We had delicious food and sake, I was able to interact with many teachers, and we were able to spend a wonderful time.
鹿島神宮の鹿島宮司がこの日台風予想だった天気予報を武甕槌大神様へ晴れてくれるようお願いして下さったところ、どうやらうちの神様はやりすぎな所が御座いまして。。。と、何と快晴どころか真夏日の暑い熱い演武大会になりました。
Kashima Shrine told us that the weather forecast was predicted to be typhoon expected this day,so Kashima chief priest asked God Takemitazuchino Ookami sama.apparently our God is overdone… Fortunately, it became a hot summer festival of summer day rather than fine weather.
今回参加者4名。

以上4名、無事に演武奉納致しました。
For the embu there were Four participants this time.
Itto seiho Shingo Tsukimori -uchidachi , Noriko Maeda – shidachi
Nito seiho Haruji Yoshihara -uchidachi , Takanori Kajiya soke – shidachi
演武終了後、去年行きそびれました御手洗池まで足を運びました。
After the performance,we went to Mitarai pond.
神聖な鹿島神宮を散策していると身も心も浄化されるような心地よさ、そして武神 武甕槌大神様に武運を授けて頂きました、その様な気持ちを胸に茨城を後にしました。
また一年、一生懸命稽古に励みまして来年も参加させて頂けるように頑張りたいと思います。
I felt comfortable where I could cleanse my body and spirit as I stroll around the sacred Kashima Shrine, and I gave martial arts to the martial arts god, I left which such a great feeling of Ibaraki in my heart.
In addition, I would like to work hard so that I can encourage my hard work and participate next year.
